Popcorn is my jam. Cinnamon and sugar or churros – yeah you’re going to get my interest there too! Put them together and you have a ridiculously good snack or sweet treat. Super yum. This recipe is a little too easy for how good it is, so I understand if we can’t be friends anymore. Or better yet we could be the type if friends who shove handfuls of cinnamony- sugary popcorn into our mouths gleefully!
I have a rather retro air popper that I prefer to pop my kernels in, but there are other methods depending on one’s preference for popping corn.
Ingredients:
1/3 Cup Popcorn Kernels
3 1/2 Tablespoons Butter
3/4 Cup Vanilla Melting Wafers (or white chocolate chips)
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/4 Cup granulated sugar
1/2 Powdered Sugar
Pinch of Salt
Directions:
- Stir the granulated sugar, powdered sugar, cinnamon and salt together in a bowl and set aside.
- Pop the popcorn and then make sure to remove all the kernels that did not pop.
- Melt the butter and melting wafers (white chocolate chips) together gently, either on the stove or in the microwave. Stir to combine.
- Pour the melted mixture over the popcorn and toss to coat.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over top and stir gently fold to fully coat the popcorn with cinnamon and sugar.
- Store any leftovers in covered container.

Hi. This looks amazing. Thanks for sharing. Any idea how long will it last in a seqled plastic container for?
Thank you
At least a week in a sealed container.
Great idea but WAY toooooo sweet! Next time I’ll omit the melted melted wafers.
