HR MacMillian Space Centre has a fabulous Dedicate-A-Star Program which ticks every box and nearly every occasion (and in several different price points too)!
When the Dedicate-A-Star Program reached out asking if we would share the experience of dedicating a star to our girls, I thought it was a great idea! We loved that it was such a unique and interesting concept.
It is a straight forward process that can happen completely online. The Dedicate a Star package includes a personalized star dedication certificate, information about the constellation of your choice and a star map showing the stars location.
With in a short period of time, our personalized star dedication package arrived in the mail!
All I had to do was fill out the intake form online here. I chose to dedicate the star to my daughters and have it be from both Mom and Dad. Then I chose the thought I wanted it to convey:
Every time you look up at the night’s sky
Think of our awesome family
And know just how loved you are
As the centre of our universe
Finally, I choose a date that is important to our family.
The dates and occasions that you could celebrate with this program are endless! Dedicating a star would definitely make a terrific wedding, graduation or special occasion gift. I also think it’s the perfect way to commemorate the birth of a child. Or a wonderful way to honour or remember someone important.
